02 / This is the rethink

Eight positions.
Less attachment hunting.
More training.

You’ve seen the workarounds. Grabbing the raw cable directly, holding D-handles by the straps or gripping them vertically. Your D-handles have been doing side jobs. We took the hint.

The KableBell brings eight hand positions for either hand into a compact cable handle. Built around the way you actually want to train.

01

Change your grip.
Keep your flow.

Across compatible exercises, switch hand positions with the same handles attached. Fewer trips to the rack. More time doing what you came for. The rack will get over it.

02

More freedom.
Right where it matters.

Compact control, room to move, and freedom to change your wrist angle. Engineered around your hand, right down to how it carries the load.

03

More training options.
Less equipment.

Eight positions in every handle. A pair for your cable setup. More versatility can mean fewer separate attachments to buy, change, and store.

Put it to work

26+ exercises. One compact handle.

  • Cross-cable movements.
  • Shoulder warm-ups.
  • Triceps extensions.
  • Biceps curls.
  • Rows.
  • Crunches.
  • Lateral raises.

For your gym bag. Your home setup. Your members.

More training value.
Less equipment.

We’re building the KableBell to be the handle people keep reaching for. The one you bring to the gym. The pair that earns its space at home. The upgrade you want at every cable station.

Small in your bag.
Big in your workout.

An open hand in directional light

A lot of thought.
Right where you hold it.

03 / The obsession is the point

Your hands
feel the
difference.

Finger strength ratios. Finger overlap and contact area. Load transfer between fingers. Wrist bending and twisting strength. We studied the anatomy and mechanics behind the grip.

A hand isn’t a uniform gripping surface. Its dimensions, pressure-sensitive areas, and movement all matter. Those details shaped the KableBell, from the contact you feel to the way your hand carries the pull.

65+
Physical prototype iterations.

Obsessive? We’ll take it.

01 / Anatomy

Down to the finger.

Finger length and thickness. Palm dimensions. Relative finger strength. Natural resting posture, bending angles, and nerve-sensitive pressure zones. We studied how finger overlap relates to usable contact area across different hand sizes. Fitting a hand takes more than giving it something to close around.

02 / Force distribution

Follow the load.

We examined how force is shared and transferred between fingers. Prototype users described pressure concentrating on the pinky side of conventional rope end stops. The design objective: spread contact across more of the hand and reduce concentrated pressure. Contact area, grip position, and surface traction had to work together.

03 / Movement mechanics

Pull. Turn. Adapt.

Pulling and twisting place different demands on a grip. Wrist bending and twisting strength ratios, changing hand angles, and the balance of pulling and twisting forces informed development. The aim: secure contact with freedom to adjust your hand through the movement. Those demands were refined together across 65+ physical iterations.

04 / Out of the workshop. Into the gym.

550+ people.
20+ gyms.
A lot of real reps.

The prototypes have already been in the hands of people who train.

The comparison that matters

In company-run prototype comparisons, testers preferred KableKrushers at our closest competitor’s own hand positions.

The KableBell offers six additional hand positions.

KableKrushers began with a frustration in our founder’s own workouts. Years of development and feedback turned that frustration into a much bigger ambition.
